ZONERS: The latest BBC comedy pilot stars Ladhood’s Karan Gill and Ikky Kabir as brothers, flatmates and polar opposites who find themselves on an adventure when they accidentally steal a package from their maniac neighbour, Ivan. It is writtenby stand-up Rajiv Karia and Ishan Ganjoor, adapted from their 2020 webseries of the same name. The cast also includes comedian Ed Kear. BBC Three, 9.55pm

Friday May 16

MURDERBOT: Should we be worried that one of the world's biggest tech companies is making jokes about killer robots? Apple's new action sci-fi comedy stars Alexander Skarsgård as the titular character, an android that learns how to think for itself – but has to hide the fact while completing dangerous assignments. The first two episodes, based on The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells, drop today.
