
Romesh Ranganathan and Tom Davis to tour The Wolf and Owl
Plus new tours from Adam Kay and Esther Manito, too
Romesh Ranganathan and Tom Davis are taking their podcast The Wolf and Owl on tour – leading a raft of live comedy shows going on sale today.
The pair will perform ten nights this autumn, starting at Belfast Grand Opera House on September 23. Tickets for the show, which come off the back of almost 300 podcast episodes, go on sale at 11am.
Medic turned comedian and author Adam Kay is also going on tour from August to coincide with the publication of his debut crime novel, A Particularly Nasty Case.
Part of the show follows the same format as those based on his bestseller This Is Going to Hurt, promising ‘an evening of hilarious and horrifying anecdotes, as well as a unique insight into the British healthcare system’.
Kay will then be joined in conversation by another famous face to talk about the book, which will be published on August 28 by Orion
He said: ‘If you need any encouragement to come along, it might currently be your quickest way to see a doctor – admittedly one who hasn’t practised medicine for 15 years.’

The tour kicks off at the Monkey Barrel in Edinburgh on January 17.
British-Lebanese comedian Esther Manito sets out on her biggest UK tour this summer, performing her new show Slagbomb, about when youthful freedom gives way to the reality of adult responsibilities. Tickets go on sale at 10am.
Also this week, former US talk-show host Craig Ferguson announced two UK stand-up gigs: London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on June 14 and the Glasgow, O2 Academy on June 21. He’ll also be at Dublin’s Ambassadors Theatre on June 13 with his show, Pants On Fire. Tickets here
Ed Gamble and James Acaster have announced three live versions of their Off Menu podcast at London’s Royal Albert Hall on March 13 and 14 next year.
And The Comedy Store Players, Olga Koch and Jen Brister have been added to the line-up of the Latitude Festival in Suffolk on July 24 to 27.
