As they tape a sketch for Children In Need

Here’s the first look at what the cast of Outnumbered look like now – eight years after their last outing and 17 years after their first.

Hugh Dennis, Claire Skinner, Tyger Drew-Honey, Daniel Roche and Ramona Marquez reprise their roles of the Brockman family for a sketch airing as part of BBC One’s Children in Need night on Friday.

Original writers  Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin penned the sketch, which features the family being 'given an all-important task’… but it doesn’t go smoothly.

Here's how the cast looked back in the first series, in 2007:

Marquez, the youngest member of the cast, was six then and is 23 now.

The last episode was a special which aired on Boxing Day 2016, which attracted more than 7million viewers.

Another full episode will air this Christmas. When it was announced back in May, Dennis said: 'I can’t wait for the Brockmans to be back together again. Pete and Sue have downsized, the children are no longer children, but I’m sure family life will prove to be just as chaotic as ever.'

Friday's telethon kicks off at 7pm and will be hosted by Ade Adepitan MBE, Mel Giedroyc, Rochelle Humes, Vernon Kay, Chris Ramsey and Lenny Rush. The fundraiser means that Have I Got News For You will be taking a week off.
