New podcast to offer episode-by-episode breakdown
Comedians are to offer an episode-by-episode breakdown of classic sci-fi sitcom Red Dwarf in a new podcast.
Guests lined up for the first two series of Better Than Life include Nick Helm, Bec Hill, Gemma Arrowsmith and Sooz Kempner.
The show is hosted by fans Fergus March and John Bocelli, along with producer Alex Watson.
They said in a statement announcing the new show: ‘We have discovered that a lot of current comics have a (sometimes secret) passion for the show, and we felt it’s time to expose the love and work out why it remains so enduring, formative, and hilarious.’

Red Dwarf aired on BBC Two between 1988 and 1999, then revived by Dave in 2009, with the last special The Promised Land airing in 2020. All episodes are available on BBC iPlayer.
The Better Than Life podcast launches on Friday.
