Comic's company grows its assets by £1.4million

Katherine Ryan’s bank balance has swelled by £1.4million in the last year.

Accounts newly filed at Companies House for her company Kathbum Ltd show its net assets rose from £400,000 to £1.8million in the 12 months up to September last year.

As sole director, she also took dividends of £525,000 out of the company – though that’s half of the £1.15million she took in the previous year. 

The account period covers her Missus UK tour, which kicked off in September 2021 and ran until May 2022, as well as the making of her stand-up series Backstage With Katherine Ryan, which aired on Amazon Prime Video.

Over the weekend, the comic – who turned 40 on Friday –  revealed she is such a workaholic she had to be talked out of going on The One Show two hours after giving birth to her third child in January.
