THE REAL McCOY: The fifth series of the groundbreaking 1990s sketch show, which gave so many black comedians their break, comes to Gold for the first time. Gold, 10:40pm

THE LAST WOMAN ON EARTH WITH Sara Pascoe: The comedian goes to Jordan, where she learns how to be a Dead Sea lifeguard and joins a family of Bedouin herders on the lookout for dangerous animals.

Tuesday April 25

ALAN DAVIES AS YET UNTITLED: Joining Alan around the table are comics Archie Maddock and Ed Byrne, plus DJ Matt Edmondson and TV presenter Steph McGover. Dave, 10pm

WASSON CORNWALL: Dawn French guest stars in this new Cornish-set sketch series which aims to show 'there's more to the county show than Poldark, Doc Martin and Rick Stein'. It stars local  talent Edward Rowe, Jo Neary, Tamsyn Kelly, Ciaran Clarke, Anna Keirle and guest stars. Radio 4, 6.30pm

JAMIE MACDONALD: LIFE ON THE BRINK: The blind stand-up returns for a second series of his radio show, starting with a tale of the time he was on Have I Got News For Yo, outraging certain quarters of social media over his struggles with the picture round.  Radio 4, 11pm

Thursday April 27

INSIDE NO 9: Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton are back for another series of standalone stories, which they promise will be gorier than before. In this episode. Mother's Ruin, they play the sons of an East End crime couple trying to uncover what secrets they took to the grave. Anita Dobson and Phil Daniels guest star and Shearsmith talks about the new series here. BBC Two, 10pm

THE CURSE: The hit comedy from Tom Davis and the team behind People Just Do Nothing returns. The second series is set in Spain in 1985 - 18 months since the gang's gold heist. While Mick (Davis) languishes in prison, Albert (Allan Mustafa), Tash (Emer Kenny) and Sidney (Steve Stamp) have escaped to start a new life on the Costa del Crime… The first two episodes will air back-to-back tonight. STAN & OLLIE: The affectionate 2018 biography of Laurel and Hardy, starring Steve Coogan and John C Reilley. Gets an airing BBC Four, 9pm

BRAVO TWO CHARLIES: The comedy series about the officers of North Wales Traffic Police returns for a fourth series, with returning cast Martin Trenaman, Rhys ap Trefor, Laura Dalgliesh, Simon Holland Roberts, Sion Pritchard, Rhian Green and Sarah Breese BBC Radio Wales, 6.30pm, and BBC Sounds

THE CLEANER: Roisin Conaty guest stars in the last episode of the second series. A gamekeeper has been murdered in rural Wales, and it falls to Wicky (Gerg Davies) to clean up the mess – while trying not to get in the way of the undertakers. BBC One, 9.30pm

THAT'S THE WAY A-HA, A-HA, Joe Lycett: After the last in the series of Late Night Lycett, the comedian's 2016 stand-up special, recorded at the Duchess Theatre in London, gets an airing. Channel 4, 11.05pm
