IT'S WHAT SHE WOULD HAVE WANTED: This short film was made by Holly Hall after being named digital comedian of the year in the BBC New Comedy Awards – and she stars alongside Fiona Allen, Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Kate Robbins. The film was shot in and around London and asks 'if someone close to you dies.... is it always a bad thing?' Hall said: 'It’s been really fun to play such a deeply-flawed character and the cast are incredible! I’m so grateful to the BBC for my first comedy baby…this should buy me a few weeks off from my parents asking me "when are you going to give us grandkids?"' BBC Three, 10.30pm .

ALL KILLA NO FILLA: Rachel Fairburn and Kiri Pritchard-McLean’s serial killer podcast is to be streamed live from the Manchester Academy to NextUp subscribers from 7pm tonight.

HOW TO SURVIVE A DICTATOR WITH Munya Chawawa: The Anglo-Zimbabwean comedian presents a look at Robert Mugabe, meeting with the tyrant's friends, family, victims and henchmen - and mixing the interviews with archive, and comedy sketches. Channel 4, 10pm

THE Russell Howard HOUR: The comic is joined by eco campaigner Greta Thunberg to talk about her newly-released title The Climate Book. And she joins him for the Playground Politics strand to ask young schoolchildren the big questions around global warming. Sky Max, 10.35pm

THE Horne Section TV SHOW: Tired of being the Taskmaster's little assistant, Alex Horne finally has the chance to pitch his very own project to Channel 4 - a late-night music chat show, The Horne Section TV Show, filmed live from his family home. He and his loyal band do their best to impress the big bosses at Channel 4, with the aid of Alex's wife's friend Thora (Desiree Burch). The show, which drops on streaming service All4 today, features guest appearances from Martin Kemp, Big Zuu, Imogen Heap, Anneka Rice and Dr Ranj Singh. Read more about the show here.

BLOCKBUSTER: This new ten-episode Netflix comedy is set in last Blockbuster video rental stall in American and stars Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Melissa Fumero and Randall Park from Fresh Off the Boat, as well as J.B. Smoove from Curb Your Enthusiasm.

WEIRD: THE AL YANKOVIC STORY: Sadly only available to those with a Roku Player – or an app for their platform on their smart TV –  this tongue-in-cheek biopic features Daniel Radcliffe as the polka-loving musical parodist. Rainn Wilson from The Office plays ‘Weird’ Al’s manager Dr Demento, in a cast that also includes comedian Quinta Brunson as Oprah Winfrey and The Last Man on Earth’s Will Forte. The tagline to the movie calls the comic, known for swapping the lyrics to hits as ‘the man who changed music... literally’

HASAN MINHAJ: THE KING'S JESTER: Filmed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Hasan Minhaj returns to Netflix with his second stand-up comedy special, sharing his thoughts on fertility, fatherhood, and freedom of speech.

HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU? Comic Maisie Adam guests with TV presenter Richard Madeley on the opposite bench and Gary Lineker in the chair. BBC One, 9pm
