The Last Leg won't be airing tonight

'It just doesn’t feel right' says Adam Hills

Tonight’s episode of The Last Leg won’t be going out on Channel 4, host Adam Hills has revealed.

Writing on Twitter, the comic said: ‘ We’ve decided not to do an episode of @thelastleg tonight. It just doesn’t feel right.

‘We’ll pay tribute to Her Majesty next week but for now our thoughts are with her family, and all those affected by the news. We hope you understand.’

The show was due to feature guests  Richard Ayoade and Aisling Bea and air at 10pm.

It is the latest TV show to be cancelled in the wake of the Queen’s death.

Tonight’s episode of Have I Got News For You has been dropped from BBC One, but next week’s is currently still listed in the schedule

Sky Max did not broadcast the launch episode of The Russell Howard Hour series 6 as planned last night and there is no news yet as to when it might air.

But Dave did put out the latest episode of its topical comedy show The Mash Report, which host Rachel Parris and her team recorded earlier in the week, but without any adverts. Instead, viewers just saw the logo of broadcaster UKTV in the breaks.

Away from satire, Dylan Moran’s new mid-life crisis comedy Stuck was due to be launched on BBC Two last night but was pushed aside for wall-to-wall coverage of the Royal death across all BBC channels.

And Radio 4 is still currently still due to air the first in the new series of The News Quiz at 6pm tonight.
