As Chortle reported in August, the broadcaster has commissioned five episodes of the show, following a one-off in which  Tom AllenRob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan were allowed to run amok in Hamley’s toy store in London.

The new episodes feature the Last Leg duo of Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe, with guest comics each week.

The series kicks off on December 16, with Conaty joining the pair in Alton Towers.

They have the run of the theme park, riding whatever rides they wish. The only rules are: leave the venue how you found it, and if you break anything, you pay for it…

A fifth episode has yet to be filmed, so details are still under wraps, but when the series was confirmed, it was announced it would be at a department store,

Channel 4 commissioning editor Steve Handley has said: ‘Viewers will be invited to a charming peek at what we never normally see of famous British attractions and Josh and Alex’s friendship.

The first episode of One Night In…  attracted an audience of 2.7million  in December 2020, making it the channel’s highest rating new title of the year.
