Julia Davis joins The Toxic Avenger

Big-screen role for Hunderby creator

Julia Davis has joined the cast of the new  Toxic Avenger movie.

The Hunderby and Sally4Ever creator stars alongside Elijah Wood, Peter Dinklage, Kevin Bacon and  Taylour Paige in the revamp of the 1984 low-budget action comedy hit.

Game of Thrones star Dinklage will play the hero, a struggling everyman who become a mutant when pushed into a vat of toxic waste, and Bacon will be the main villain.

It is not known what roles the other actors, including Davis, are  playing.

The Toxic Avenger will be the second feature for   director Macon Blair after I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore in 2017. He is also an actor whose credits include the similarly B-moviesque TV series Swamp Thing.
