Fleabag notches up 11 Emmy nominations

Including two for Phoebe Waller-Bridge herself

Fleabag has been nominated for 11 Emmy awards.

They include best comedy series, and both best lead actress and best writing for Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Co-stars and guest stars Sian Clifford, Olivia Colman, Kristin Scott Thomas and Fiona Shaw are also nominated in their categories

But Fleabag is likely to face stiff competition from The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, up for 20 awards, and the always-acclaimed Veep, which has just come to an end.

Saturday Night Live also scored will, with 18 nominations – but notable shows not to rack up any nods include Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Hannah Gadbsy faces off against the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Beyonce after her stand-up special Nanette was nominated for best variety special.

The awards will be handed out on September 22.
