In a new BBC radio series

The BBC is making a new radio show in which up-and-coming female stand-ups talk about the comedians who inspired them.

Over four 15-minute episodes of Comedy Catalysts,Sophie Willan talks about her comedy idol, Victoria Wood; Sindhu Vee praises Carol Burnett; Evelyn Mok discusses Maria Bamford and Suzi Ruffell hails Ellen Degeneres

The series is hosted by Harriet Kemsley and airs on Radio 4 Extra at 10.45pm over four nights from July 22.
