Maisie Williams to star in new Sky comedy

Game Of Thrones star to play a misfit on the run

Game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams is to star in a new Sky comedy series about a misfit on the run from a murderous gangster.

The six-part series due to air next year has the working title Two Weeks To Live and has been written by Gaby Hull, who has previously worked on Benidorm.

According to Deadline, Williams plays Kim Noakes, who lives a secluded country life, but when an unlikely prank goes wrong, she finds herself on the run from a killer and the police with a massive bag of stolen cash.

Williams – who plays Arya Stark in the HBO fantasy series – said: ‘Looking forward to getting into something new, I think Two Weeks To Live has really great potential and I want to make something incredible with this wonderful team!’

Jon Mountague, Sky’s director of comedy, added: ‘With Maisie Williams leading from the front, Two Weeks To Live is to die for. Bold, British and very, very original, we can’t wait to wow audiences with even more great comedy.’

It is being made by Kudos, whose credits include Humans, Broadchurch and Channel 4 comedy Flowers.
