She's adapting The Radleys for the big screen

Jo Brand is adapting vampire novel The Radleys for the big screen.

Fisherman’s Friends director Chris Foggin has just signed up to make a film adaptation of Matt Haig’s 2010 book, set in a North Yorkshire village and revolving around a couple who reluctantly have to tell their two children that they are vampires

Foggin told ScreenDaily: ‘I adore the book and Jo has done a fantastic job in adapting the screenplay.’

As well as her TV series including Damned and Getting On comedian wrote last year’s film The More You Ignore Me, based on her own novels.
