WATCH YOUR STERN: With its innuendo-laden title, his 1960 naval comedy is almost an unofficial Carry On, having been produced by the franchise’s Peter Rogers and directed by Gerald Thomas. There are a lot of familiar cast members, too, including Kenneth Connor, Sid James,Joan Sims, Hattie Jacques, Leslie Phillips - and a little more surprisingly Spike Milligan, in another of his regrettable roles playing someone from the Indian subcontinent. Different times. Still, it’s a curio for comedy historians. Talking Pictures TV, 6pm

HYPOTHETICAL: Josh Widdicombe and James Acaster host this new panel show in which comedians are posed absurd hypothetical situations and come up with elaborate ways of dealing with them. Guests in episode one are Tom Allen, Rob Beckett, Jessica Knappett and Liza Tarbuck. Dave, 10pm.
LIFE ON EGG: Harry Hill returns as the governor of a remote island jail in this gag-packed 15-minute sitcom, co-starring Karen Bartke, Marek Larwood and writer Dan Maier. And Gyles Brandreth pops up as a prisoner. Radio 4, 11pm
