SNL's Chris Redd announces UK stand-up debut

London dates this summer

Saturday Night Live cast member Chris Redd has announced his UK stand-up debut.

The Chicago-born comic will be appearing at London’s Soho Theatre from June 10 to 15.

He has been a regular SNL cast member since 2017, and last year won an Emmy for co-writing the song Come Back Barack, which featured on the show.

Redd  has performed stand-up on Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents, and his acting credits include comedy films such as Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping opposite Andy Samberg and The House alongside Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler.

Tickets for his Soho Theatre dates go on sale at midday on Friday.

Here is Come Back Barack, which he performed with Chance the Rapper and Kenan Thompson soon after Donald Trump’s election.
