Shows to be taped next month

Comedy Central UK  has commissioned a new series of nine stand-up specials.

Iain Stirling,  Desiree Burch, Luisa Omielan, Fin Taylor, Darren Harriott, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Tez Ilyas, Stephen Bailey and Sofie Hagen will all be recording 22-minute sets to air next spring.

The specials are to be taped in Camden, North London, next month.

The broadcaster’s general manager Louise Holmes said: ‘We always look forward to filming live stand up and capturing the very best performances on the circuit right now

‘This series forms part of our ongoing commitment to identifying and developing the future stars of live comedy and stand-up – and we have a truly fantastic and diverse line up of talent on board.'
