Second kids' book for Dara O Briain

New title looks at the science of the everyday

Dara O Briain is writing a second children’s science book.

Secret Science: The Amazing World Beyond Your Eyes, is due to be published in October by education specialists Scholastic.

It will explore the science being everyday experiences, from buses coming in threes to why atoms are responsible for your bad hair day

The title is illustrated by Dan Bramall, who also proved the drawings for O Briain’s first kids’ book Beyond The Sky, which was published last year and sold more than 35,000 copies in the UK and Ireland.

Publisher Elizabeth Scoggins said: ‘After the huge success of Beyond the Sky, it’s clear that Dara’s ability to turn his genuine passion for science into brilliant, laugh-out-loud writing will mean that Secret Science is sure to find an eager and enthusiastic audience this autumn.’
