Bill Cosby gets a retrial date
Bill Cosby is to face a retrail on sexual assault charges this autumn.
The case against the comedian ended in a mistrial last month, and now Pennsylvania judge Steven O’Neill has ruled that he will have to return to the dock on November 6.
Cosby, 79, is facing three charges of aggravated indecent assault for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home outside Philadelphia in January 2004.
He is said to have drugged and assaulted her. Cosby denies the charges but did not Testify in his own defence during the first charge trial. His lawyers argued that sex between the two was consensual.
