Jack Dee's Helpdesk is back

With a Trump special

Jack Dee’s Helpdesk is to return – including a Donald Trump special.

Two episodes are to be recorded in the week of the new US president’s inauguration, one about typical first world problems, the other themed around Trump.

As usual, a panel of guest comedians try to solve the dilemmas raised by the audience.

Suggested questions of the type the audience might like to ask for the Trump special include: ‘If the Donald builds a wall between the USA and Mexico how high would it need to be?’ or ‘As a woman is it safe for me to walk down the streets in the new America?’

The show, which started off as a live format, previously ran on BBC Two for three election-themed episodes on 2015, and three based around the EU referendum earlier this year.

Katherine Ryan and Romesh Ranganathan were regulars on the earlier shows, though it is not known if they will be returning.

The new shows are being recorded in front of a live studio audience in January. See our free tickets page to apply to be there.
