Radio 4 orders second series of sketch show

Jocelyn Jee Esien is to make a second series of her Radio 4 sketch show, It's Jocelyn.

The new series follows the success of the first four episodes that aired over the new year.

Esie will be running though ideas in two sessions in London in the coming months, promising a mix of new and returning characters. (Click here for free tickets)

In each episode she will be joined by Ninia Benjamin – her co-star from 2003 BBC Three series 3 Non-Blondes – and Curtis Walker, both of whom are returning from series one.

Esien also previously starred in the TV sketch show Little Miss Jocelyn from 2006 to 2008, while her other credits have included Gangsta Granny and Big School.

Characters from series one of It's Jocelyn included an overly-dramatic family, a pair of terrible African Drummers, and teenage pirate radio DJs. Here are a couple of clips:
