ABSOLUTE Radio breakfast host Christian O’Connell is to embark on his first national stand-up tour. He has announced 19 dates for his 2014 Edinburgh show Breaking Dad from January to May next year. Schedule.

Ellie Taylor, the stand-up and presenter of BBC Three’s Snog Marry Avoid, has also announced her debut tour, with 14 dates of her Elliementary show kicking off at the Leicester Comedy Festival on February 7. Schedule.

DAVID WALLIAMS has settled his phone-hacking claim against News Group Newspapers after the News Of The World obtained private information from his mobile. The comic, who had been seeking aggravated damages, accepted a 'substantial' but undisclosed sum and his legal fees at London's High Court today. He donated his damages to Comic Relief.
