Sky renews League Of Their Own until 2017
Three-year deal signed
Sky has signed a new deal for 30 new episodes of comedy sports quiz A League Of Their Own – ensuring the show stays on air until 2017.
Each year, programme-makers CPL Productions will deliver eight hour-long episodes and two ‘unseen’ episodes.
Series 8 will be broadcast this summer 2014, with James Corden back in the hosting seat alongside regular team captains Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff, and permanent panelist Jack Whitehall.
Series 9 is slated for 2015, Series 10 for 2016, and Series 11 for 2017.
Sky 1 direcor Adam MacDonald said: ‘A League of Their Own’s energetic blend of sport and big hearty laughter has grown to become one of Sky 1’s strongest returning series.’
