Paul Chowdhry to host Stand-Up For The Week

As new comics join the team

Paul Chowdhry is to replace Jon Richardson as host of Channel 4’s Stand Up For The Week – as new comics join the regular team.

Simon Evans, Romesh Ranganathan and Angela Barnes will all join the new line-up, alongside returning regulars Seann Walsh and Josh Widdicombe.

But Andrew Lawrence and Sara Pascoe will not be returning for series five when it begins on November 1.

The eight new episodes will be recorded at the Clapham Grand in South London.

The show is made by Open Mike productions and all of the comics taking part  except for Ranganathan are represented by its sister management company Off The Kerb.

Chowdhry has been a regular on the last two series , which were both hosted by Richardson.
