Comics line up for Comic Relief special

Teams of comedians are to take part in a special edition of BBC One’s daytime quiz Pointless for charity.

Among them are Ben Miller – host Alexander Armstrong’s long-time comic partner – who will be paired with Red Dwarf star Danny John-Jules for the test of obscure knowledge.

The other comics taking part are: Ed Byrne with Shappi Khorsandi, Paul Whitehouse with Charlie Higson; and Andi Osho with David Schneider.

The Comic Relief special is elevated to a prime-time slot, and air at 6pm on Saturday March 2. All the cash won will go to charity.
