Ed Byrne and Lee Nelson to tour

2013 another busy year for stand-up

Ed Byrne and Lee Nelson have announced tours for 2013.

Tickets for both went on sale today, adding to another busy year for comedy tours. Reginald D Hunter, Jimeoin, Dave Spikey and Andy Parsons have also recently added dates next year - while Miranda Hart this week announced dates as far ahead as summer 2014.

Simon Brodkin will be taking his Lee Nelson creation on the road for 31 dates in the spring, that will also feature the characters of Premier League footballer Jason Bent, and bungling medic Dr Bob. Although he has just finished a UK tour, this is billed as a new show.

The dates (here) come ahead of his new BBC Three series Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People, which will feature established and new characters.

Meanwhile, Byrne will be performing at least 50 dates in the autumn of his new show, Roaring Forties, about entering his fifth decade in life. It kicks off at the Dunfermerline Alhambra on September 27. Click here for the full schedule.

Next year will also see big-name tours from the likes of Harry Hill, Micky Flanagan, Mrs Brown and, Sarah Millican. See our on tour page for details.
