Two And A Half Men is 'filth'

Says its own star in religious rant

The young star of Two And A Half Men has blasted his own show as ‘filth’ – and urged people to stop watching it.

Actor Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake, made his extraordinary comments in an online interview with a fundamentalist Christian website called Forerunner Chornicles.

In the videos, the 19-year-old talks about his relationhship God and suggests that television is the work of the Devil.

He said: ‘If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men.

‘I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it, and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment.

‘Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch. It’s bad news.

‘A lot of people don’t like to think about how deceptive the enemy is.  He’s been doing this a long longer than any of us have been around.  There’s no playing around when it comes to eternity.’

He later said he did not want to ‘contribute to the enemy’s plan.’

‘You cannot be a good God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can’t. I’m not OK with what the Bible says and being on that show.

His words are likely to concern creator Chuck Lorre, who last year had to negotiate the meltdown of the sitcom’s former star Charlie Sheen, who was replaced by Ashton Kutcher.

However, the CBS show – now in its tenth season - remains immensely popular, regularly attracting 14million viewers.

The Forerunner - aka Christopher Hudson – preaches an apocalyptic message that God is about to wreak his vengeance on the world and 'Satan’s human agents’ because he is angered by things such as allowing gay marriage.
