Lee Evans DVD still No 1

...but Peter Kay closing the gap

Lee Evans has retained his spot at the top of the stand-up DVD chart for the second week – but Peter Kay has closed the gap.

Evans’s Roadrunner show slipped from No 2 to No 4 in the overall top 40 following the release of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows and Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.

But Kay has moved up one place from No 6 to No 5, despite having been out a fortnight longer than Evans.

There are six stand-ups in the top 40, which are, in order (with last week’s position in the stand-up only chart in brackets)

1. Lee Evans: Roadrunner (1)
2. Peter Kay: The Tour That Didn’t Tour (2)
3. John Bishop: Sunshine (3)
4. Alan Carr: Spexy Beast (5)
5. Micky Flanagan: The Out Out Tour (6)
Sarah Millican: Chatterbox Live (4)

Although exact sales figures are not published for each title, publicists for Millican’s debut DVD say it sold 28,415 copies in its first week.
