Jackie Mason to quit UK shows

Final West End run next year

Jackie Mason has announced his last ever stand-up performances in the UK.

The 75-year-old comic will have a five-week residency in the West End from February 13.

Mason has decided to restrict his live work only to the States in future, joking: ‘I’d like to say a fond farewell to Britain, but unfortunately I don’t know where it is.

‘The truth is, I now have all the money I need. Unless I want to buy something.’

Mason, who has been a comic for 50 years, says that the show, Fearless, will include daily updates on the US Presidential campaign, which will be gearing up at the time, as well as British politics and observations on daily life.

Tickets for the run at the Wyndhams Theatre, priced £25 to £75, are available on 0844 482 5120.
