John Bishop's first arena tour

Six months after saying he was resting

John Bishop has announced his first arena tour – less than six months after vowing to quit touring for ‘several years’.

Back in May, he said ‘I just need to have a couple of years or so catching up with myself’ – but now it appears the allure of playing vast halls has proved too much.

He has today announced a 13-night tour starting in late September next year, which could net him around £1.5million.

The yet-to-be-titled tour, which will coincide with the publication of his autobiography, includes two dates in his native Liverpool and one at London’s O2 Arena.

Tickets go on sale next Friday, November 4. Click here for dates.
