One Night Stand returns

Dave commissions third series

Digital channel Dave has ordered a new series of its stand-up show One Night Stand.

Stephen K Amos, Tommy Tiernan and Ardal O’Hanlon are all recording shows for the third series, starting from the end of the month.

The show’s premise is that comedy stars perform in their home town, with a bill of supporting acts.

Amos records his show in London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket on June 26; O’Hanlon is in the Olympia Theatre Dublin on July 1 and Tiernan is at the Wexford Opera House on July 3.

Details of the supporting bills or any other headliners have not yet been confirmed, although Joe Rowntree has tweeted that he is on the Amos bill.

Acts to have taken part previously include Ben Elton, Johnny Vegas, Sarah Millican and Greg Davies.
