Bird may fly the Inbetweeners nest

Row over fee for film

Simon Bird may not appear in the Inbetweeners movie because of a row over money, it has been reported.

His agents Avalon have allegedly demanded a bigger fee for the comic, claiming he is the star of the show.

But Bwark Productions, who are making the film, are calling their bluff by starting the process to find a replacement, The Sun reports.

The brinksmanship comes days before shooting starts in Crete.

Co-stars Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison have all signed up, but Avalon are said to want a better deal for their client – a former Chortle Student Comedy Award finalist.

Avalon have not yet commented on the story.
