Comics set for marathon bike ride

David Walliams is to cycle from John O’Groats to Land’s End – with the aid of Jimmy Carr and Miranda Hart.

The team, which also includes TV presenters Fearne Cotton and Davina McCall, will try to complete the 875-mile ride in just four days, tackling the journey in shifts around the clock.

The challenge will take place in March as part of the Sport Relief fundraising drive.

Walliams has previously swum the Channel and the Straits of Gibraltar in aid of the charity.
