Serafinowicz IS Paul McCartney

Comic set for Yellow Submarine remake

Peter Serafinowicz is set to play Paul McCartney in a remake of Yellow Submarine.

The Liverpool-born comic – who has impersonated the Beatle on several internet clips as well as his BBC Two sketch show – is in talks with Disney to provide McCartney’s voice for the new animation, according to the Hollywood Reporter

Shameless star Dean Lennox Kelly, Hot Shots! actor Cary Elwes, and Epic Movie star Adam Campbell will make up the rest of the Fab Four. They will only provide the speaking voices, as the original Beatles music has been licensed for use in the film.

The pschadelic1968 movie is being made for Disney by Robert Zemeckis, who previously directed Forrest Gump and Back To the Future.

That show went down as a thing of legend, often spoken about by weary travellers around campfires, but thought to have been lost to the sands of time forever.'
