Armstrong and Miller take off on tour

Dates announced for 2010

Alexander and Miller are to go on tour in 2010.

They have so far announced live shows in nine towns and cities for next autumn, though more are sure to be added.

The news comes as the pair prepare to embark on their second primetime series for BBC One next week.

Armstrong said: ‘We want to really explore what we can do on stage and make full use of this.

‘Our goal is to make it a fantastic all-singing, all-dancing – OK some singing, some dancing - event.’

The show will feature some of the most popular characters from teh TV series, including thee street-talking WWII chav pilots; Jilted Jim, dumped at the altar but still on his honeymoon; Terry Devlin, the royal correspondent who really KNOWS the royals; and Frank Dad.

The tour so far begins in Bristol on September 23, and ends in Oxford in mid-November. Click here for dates and tickets.
