New series for 'No Head'

And there's a sitcom spin-off, too

The BBC has ordered another run of its acclaimed children’s sketch show Sorry I’ve Got No Head – as well as a new sitcom spin-off.

The new programme, tentatively titled Game Over, is based on a skit about ‘off duty’ video game characters.

Justin Edwards will co-write the 26 new half-hour episodes with Chris Reddy and Toby Davies, who have previously written for Mitchell & Webb. A number of online games will also be created to accompany the show.

Meanwhile, CBBC has ordered a third 13-part run of the original sketch show from Graham Norton’s production company So Television, before the second has even been aired.

The show features a cast of familiar comedy faces including Marcus Brigstocke, Anna Crilly, Mel Giedroyc, Marek Larwood and Nick Mohammed.
