Cable Guy fails to show up...

Larry cancels his UK debut

Larry The Cable Guy has pulled the plug on his first UK shows.

The ‘redneck’ comic turned movie star had been due to play dates in London, Manchester and Wolverhampton next month – but all three have been cancelled.

The 46-year-old comic – real name Daniel Lawrence Whitney – is famous for his catchphrase ‘Get-R-Done’. He shot to prominence in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, alongside Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall, which has sold more than 4 million copies on DVD.
