My Family star in intersive care

Marshall is hit by a car on a night out

My Family star Kris Marshall is in intensive care after being hit by a car on a night out.

The actor, who now appears in BT ads is reported to have a serious head injury following the accident on Saturday night.

The 34-year-old, who played Robert Lindsey’s son Nick in sitcom, was hit by a car outside a pub on the outskirts of Bristol, and was taken to the city’s Royal Infirmary.

A friend told The Sun: ‘Kris’s family have been extremely worried. He’s awake, but obviously, with any head injury, there are fears.’

He was said to be in a stable condition last night.

Marshall has been in rehearsals to star in a new West End comedy, Fat Pig, alongside Robert Webb and Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page.
