Stevenson lands Dr Who role
Former Spaced star Jessica Stevenson is to appear in the next series of Doctor Who.The 33-year-old actress will play a character called Joan in two episodes of the new series.
The shows will be directed by Charles Palmer - the son of renowned actor Geoffrey Palmer.
An insider told The Sun: ‘The role will play to her comedy strengths."’
Spaced co-star Simon Pegg appeared in the first series of the revived Doctor Who, playing the evil Editor.
Peter Kay has also made an appearance, and Catherine Tate is to star in the Christmas episodes as The Bride.
