Gervias to film Extras at awards bash
Ricky Gervais will be filming an episode of Extras at the Baftas this Sunday.
He and co-star Ashley Jensen will be recording scenes for the next series at the awards bash, and will be capturing passing stars for unwitting cameos.
Gervais told The Sun: ‘Everyone else is going on a freebie but I’m working that night.
‘I’ve already won six Baftas so that’s enough. If Extras wins it’s a bonus but if not we will get a lot of stuff in the can. I’ve got a lot of work to do that night.’
The plot will see their characters bitching about someone, thinking they’reout of earshot.
Extras is up for best sitcom at the Baftas, with Jensen nominated for best comedy performance.
