Low-key Lenny

Secret gigs ahead of BBC1 show

Lenny Henry is performing a series of near-secret gigs in a small London pub.

The comic is working on a new series for BBC1, and testing out the material in front of small audiences in an intimate club.

Henry started his low-key lunchtime performances at the Bath House, in Central London, this week, and has eight more gigs in the pipeline.

They are every Wednesday to June 22 at 1pm; plus an extra performance at 7pm on May 11.
