Big-screen Morris

Satirist's film in Pulp festival

Chris Morris is to show his debut film as part of arts festival programmed by Pulp.

The Brass Eye satirist's short, My Wrongs, will be screened during next month's four-day Auto festival in Sheffield.

It is about a man who stops using his name because he's doesn't think he deserve one, and a talking dog called Rothko.

Starring Phoenix Night's Paddy Considine, it is based on a monologue from the second series of Morris's Radio One show Blue Jam.

The ten-minute short receives its first public screenings next Thursday and Friday, as part of the London Film Festival

It will then be shown at Sheffield's Showroom Cinema on December 13, and is set to be released on DVD sometime next year.
