Behaving badly, paid well.
Men Behaving Badly is to make a comeback - landing its stars almost £250,000 each.
The BBC has offered Martin Clunes, Caroline Quentin, Neil Morrisey and Leslie Ash the sum to reprise their roles in the hit sitcom next year.
Only three episodes have so far been planned, which will be filmed next summer for screening in the autumn.
Writer Simon Nye said he hopes the male characters to have matured for the new shows.
He told the Daily Telegraph: "I'm tired of women being the know-alls."
The last episode of Men Behaving Badly, in 1998, attracted 13.9 million viewers as Gary and Dorothy became parents.
