New sketch series for duo

Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer are to make their first sketch series in three years.

They have been commissioned to make six episodes of Vic And Bob's Secret Garden.

The show will initially run on BBC Choice, and production starts this autumn.

Reeves and Mortimer are also due to start work on the sixth series of Shooting Stars next month.

But Vic last week complained about BBC chiefs who kept 'demanding' they make more episodes of the quiz show.

"Bob and I would love to experiment more with new shows but they demand we do more Shooting Stars," he told the Sun.

He added that he was working on ideas for a chat show and a fly-on-the-wall series.
