Saunders 'has more ideas'

Jennifer Saundersis considering writing a movie version of Absolutely Fabulous.

She says she still has more ideas for the comedy, which returned to BBC1 this summer after a five-year absence.

But she said she might write a one-off screenplay, rather than another series.

"There are lots of ideas we didn't get to do," Saunders told CNN.com.

And star Joanna Lumley added: "Five years ago we were all sent to bed and put back in our boxes, so I can predict nothing with confidence."

"Patsy and Edina's brand of sin will always be in, because they exist on a different level - they're both as real and as unreal as possible."

A French movie version of the sitcom was released in August, but it was savaged by critics who said it ruined the spirit of the original.
