Meet the cast of new comedy W1A

W1A, the follow up to Twenty Twelve that's set in the upper echelons of the BBC, starts on BBC Two soon. Hugh Bonneville returns as Ian Fletcher, now appointed to the corporation's 'head of values' after his 'success' with the Olympics, and Jessica Hynes is back as the platitude-spouting PR guru Siobhan Sharpe.

Here is the cast, old and new, with some of them speaking about their roles:

Hugh Bonneville as Ian Fletcher, Head Of Values

Most likely to say: 'So that’s all good.'

Jessica Hynes. as Siobhan Sharpe, Brand BBC Consultant

Most likely to say: “I totally am listening…what it is is, you guys aren’t saying the right stuff.”

Sarah Parish as Anna Rampton, head of output

Most likely to say: 'No.' She has a reputation for making decisions quickly and then sticking to them, albeit nearly always the wrong ones.

Jason Watkins as Simon Harwood, Director of Strategic Governance

Most likely to say: 'Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.'

Monica Dolan as Tracey Pritchard, Senior Communications Officer

Most likely to say: 'I’m sorry I’m not being negative or anything, but...'

David Westhead as Neil Reid, Current Controller of News and Current Affairs

Max Olesker and Iván Gonzalez as Ben Rosenstern and Jerry Guildencrantz, Digital Strategists

Most likely to say: Nothing

Nina Sosonya as Lucy Freeman, producer

Most likely to say: 'I think we’re almost there.'

Rufus Jones as David Wilkes, Entertainment Format Producer

Enthusiastic Entertainment Format Producer David has theoretically devised the corporation’s next big Sunday night format, Britain’s Tastiest Village, with the express hope of changing the face of Sunday night television, for either better or worse.

Hugh Skinner as Will Humphries, Intern

Most likely to say: 'Yes… say again?'

Ophelia Lovibond as Izzy Gould, PA to Simon Harwood
