Oxford-educated Sophie Duker first got into comedy via the university's Oxford Imps improv troupe. She worked as a researcher on TV comedy shows before getting in front of screen on the likes of 8 Out of 10 Cats, Frankie Boyle's New World Order and Mock the Week. She co-starred in the 2019 pilot for a hidden camera sketch show on Channel 4 called Riot Girls and was nominated for best newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 for her show Venus.
