Leo Reich signs with major Hollywood agent

...as he prepares to make his acting debut

Leo Reich has signed up with one of Hollywood’s biggest agents.

The comic has joined UTA, whose other clients include the likes of Kylie Minogue,  Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford and Charlize Theron.

He is hot property following the release of his debut live show Literally Who Cares?! as an HBO stand-up special last year,  hen he was profiled by the New Yorker and New York Times.

The show was previously nominated for best newcomer at the Edinburgh  Comedy Awards, and most outstanding show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

He has just been cast alongside Megan Stalter, Will Sharpe and more in Netflix’s romcom Too Much from Girls creator Lena Dunham and her husband Luis Felber – his first major acting role.

Reich appears on the Jonathan Ross show on ITV1 on Saturday alongside Paul Rudd, Mel B and Billie Piper.

In the UK, he will continue to be  represented by Individual Artist Management.

Thanks for reading. If you find Chortle’s coverage of the comedy scene useful or interesting, please consider supporting us with a monthly or one-off ko-fi donation.
Any money you contribute will directly fund more reviews, interviews and features – the sort of in-depth coverage that is increasingly difficult to fund from ever-squeezed advertising income, but which we think the UK’s vibrant comedy scene deserves.
