New peek at Steve Coogan and Sarah Solemani in Chivalry

Plus first images of the starry ensemble cast

Channel 4 have released some preview images from its upcoming comedy-drama Chivalry, co-created by and starring Steve Coogan and Sarah Solemani.

The show examines gender politics and romance in the film world in the wake of the #MeToo movement that put sexual power dynamics under the microscope.

Coogan plays Cameron, a successful film producer and ‘ladies’ man’ while Solemani is Bobby, a passionate indie-darling filmmaker.

The ensemble cast also includes Wanda Sykes as astute studio executive Jean Shrill; Sienna Miller as Cameron’s leading lady, Lark; Lolly Adefope as Ama, Cameron’s latest assistant; Aisling Bea as intimacy coordinator, Tatiana, and Adjani Salmon as Bobby’s devoted and patient husband, Aston.

Guest cameos across the series will include Paul Rudd – who previously starred with Bea in Living With Yourself, Peter Mullan from Mum and Transparent's Amy Landecker.

Channel 4 says the six-part series ‘grants the audience permission to laugh while asking complex questions that as a society, we often find hard to discuss’.

Chivalry will air this spring on Channel 4 and All 4. It was commissioned by Caroline Hollick, head of drama at Channel 4, and is produced by Coogan’s company, Baby Cow Productions.
