Harry Hill returns with a video podcast

Guests to include James Acaster, Stewart Lee and Ed Gamble,

Harry Hill is launching a video podcast.

The comedian this morning released a trailer for the new show, taking place on a set reminiscent of his biggest hit, TV Burp.

Guests lined up for the series include James Acaster, Stewart Lee, Ed Gamble, Phil Wang, Alex Brooker, John Cooper Clarke, Laura Smyth and Nish Kumar, who told the host: ‘You're self-funding your own nervous breakdown.’

In the teaser, Hill says: ‘Hey there, I've got a new pod scarf. The Harry Hill Show, featuring a number of super celebrity guests, many of whom get dressed up as a hamster.

‘Featuring the Harry Hill Show mascot, Licky. My son from my first marriage, Gary. Sarah the AI bot. [And] introducing the game that everyone is talking about – Name The Seed.’

Hill started an audio podcast called Are We There Yet in summer 2024 which ran for 60 episodes up to last May. That channel has now been rebranded The Harry Hill show in anticipation of the new series.

As well as the guests, the new episodes will feature experts on topics such as the Big Bang, Day of the Dead and flies.

On the trailer, he said: ‘Now it's not just something you can hear – you can see it too. If you like prolonged low-level disruptions,  then join us on The Harry Hill Show.’

The new series launches on Spotify and YouTube on January 19.
